As a Financial Controller you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Director.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your financial acumen in a fast-paced business environment.  The ideal candidate needs to show commitment and drive, will thrive in a busy environment, and will enjoy taking on new challenges, remaining calm when working under pressure

What will you do as a Financial Controller?

  • Banking and payments to customer and suppliers & bank reconciliations
  • Working with several businesses and bank accounts
  • Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger
  • Credit control and chasing outstanding debt
  • Carrying out month end tasks and completion of monthly reporting
  • VAT returns, processing expenses
  • Assisting with year-end / month end preparation
  • Managing company credit card expenses

What do you need as a Financial Controller?

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Excel suite
  • Either a part qualified ACCA accountant or qualified
  • Technical accounting expertise in particular balance sheet and profit and loss accounting
  • Excellent organisational skills and an eye for accuracy and detail
  • Confident and a professional telephone manner to deal with customers/suppliers and other business partners.
