Senior Engineer - Highways Division

The Company:

What You'll Do:

Take charge of specialised highway engineering tasks, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are met throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead expansion joint renewals, bearing enhanced maintenance, and bearing replacement
• Oversee waterproofing of bridge decks and resurfacing projects
• Manage parapet renewals, testing, and investigative work across the network
• Collaborate closely with the project team to plan and execute works, primarily during night shifts
• Work from the Dartford office during the day with some ad hoc site visits at night to ensure project success

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience in highways engineering, particularly with infrastructure maintenance and repair
• Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) and up-to-date SMSTS qualification
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
