Housekeeper | Birchwood School | Cardiff | 25 hours a week | Permanent | £12.82 per hour | Term Time Only
Welcome to Birchwood, Cardiff’s specialist school where education meets compassion. We’re dedicated to nurturing children with complex needs related to ASD/SEMH through a perfect blend of education, care, and therapeutic support.  
 
Orbis Education & Care provides expert care and education for individuals with complex needs related to Autism and SEMH. Our child-centred approach focuses on personal strengths and interests, empowering children to lead active, fulfilling lives.

 
A typical day will include:

• Daily cleaning of all areas in accordance with the Schools’ schedules and specifications.
• Ensuring documentation is completed in line with the daily/weekly housekeeping cleaning schedule.
• Deep cleaning classrooms and equipment, following the correct procedures and techniques.
• Reporting any maintenance problems to the Manager immediately.
• Ordering of stock and management/control of stock levels.
• Ensuring segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points.
• Attending all statutory training requirements and personal development training activities.
• Ensuring compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
