As our Infection Control Nurse, you will ensure the effective co-ordination, delivery and reporting of infection control and quality assurance within The Practice Plus Group Hospital Birmingham. You will manage all mandatory, statutory and other infection control related training activities, developing and delivering standard programmes, coordinating regulatory registers and managing external providers as appropriate to ensure that the hospital meets its statutory training responsibilities for its staff.
You will be working 3 days a week, 22.5 hours per week.
We are looking for :
A Registered NMC Nurse, with:
- an Infection Control qualification or equivalent
- experience in audit
- substantial experience in an acute hospital setting with at least a couple of years at a senior level
- has been in an active leadership role in promoting, developing and sustaining the key focus areas for Infection Control
- relevant experience as an Infection Control Nurse
