Holt Executive are currently partnered with a global leader in Space Sustainability, a dynamic and rapidly growing technology innovator who are making hugely positive contributions to tackle the growing problem of orbital space debris.

They require a Business & Strategy Analyst to assist with developing the business case for future operations, and to collaborate extensively with the engineering, policy and other divisions to develop interdisciplinary consensus for future strategy.

This role will suit someone with experience in the space industry, and a background in management consulting, financial/market analysis, or economic research. The role offers the opportunity to develop commercial, analytic, and research skills whilst working in a global start-up at the forefront of space sustainability.


Responsibilities for the Business & Strategy Analyst:
  • Design and deliver analysis and recommendations to inform business strategy.  
  • Provide analytical and technical support for Projects and Programmes, leading market analysis and research. 
  • Analysis of potential customers/partners/competitors for future missions to support internal strategic decision-making. 
  • Contribute to thought leadership research on the economics of space debris, including socio-economic impact, financing and insurance mechanism, cost to operators, policy analysis
  • Work with the business development and sales teams to support business analysis required for future bids and programmes. 
Experience required by the Business & Strategy Analyst:
  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in economics, finance, business, management, or a STEM field. 
  • 2+ years’ experience in management consulting, financial analysis, market analysis, space industry, space policy, or economic research
  • Passionate about space with knowledge of the space environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use logic to collect, evaluate and synthesize multiple sources of information, e.g. articles and research papers
  • Ability to design, develop, recommend, and execute a business strategy.
