We are a managed service provider who have exclusively partnered up with an exciting Aerospace company near Oxford to handle their entire recruitment process as they search for a Master Scheduler to join them on a long-term contract basis. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting the ever-growing advanced air mobility sector out of their state-of-the-art facility. You will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment. It will initially begin as a 6-month contract with the opportunity to continue on an ongoing basis.

The successful Master Scheduler will have the following responsibilities:

  • Creation and maintenance of production and programme schedules in Oracle P6 / Primavera Cloud in line production and sales forecasts
  • Proactively identify opportunities for labour/facility flexing between programmes and products, ensuring that production plans are always met whilst labour capacity is always fully utilised
  • Assess progress, track and analyse the impact of the programme or project schedule forecast changes to identify threats at the earliest opportunity
  • Direct the timely processing of schedule updates; monitor the accuracy of project schedules and version control changes
  • Prepare and present monthly S&OP data
  • Maintain and control the programme or project schedule baseline to reflect any contracted amendments
  • Control the allocation of contingency reserve and updates to the programme or project schedule baseline ensuring alignment to the risk register
  • Establishing and implementing standards and best practice across Programmes or products

The Master Scheduler will ideally have the following skills or experience:

  • Previous proven experience of planning and scheduling of complex tasks within an aerospace or similar industrial environment
  • Ability to lead and support the S&OP process flow
  • Extensive experience working with Oracle P6 or Primavera Cloud
  • Experience of working within a SAP environment
  • Ability to ensure minimal disruption to the production line and consistent performance against production schedules and targets
