TD Recruitment are currently looking for experienced groundworker to work for our client in Faringdon, Oxfordshire area.

The Role

•  As one of the construction team’s Groundworkers you will be responsible for working on a variety of high-profile projects under the supervision of one of our site foremen so that together you ensure that projects run efficiently & effectively. You will work on projects that are predominantly equestrian and agricultural based.

Key Responsibilities

• Groundworker or Digger Driver/Dumper Driver
• Adhere to best working practices and industry standards.
• Adhere to working instructions as specified by the company.
• Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment to the highest standard during site use.
• Communicate with internal parties for project assistance.
• Provide paperwork, namely timesheets and equipment inspection sheets.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Must have previous groundworks experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence (Max 3 points) and own transport.
• Must always conduct work in a professional manner.
• Flexible in approach to work.
• Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
• Ability to work in a team towards a mutual goal.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all clients and team members.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Ability to maintain equipment and tools.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS machine tickets
• First Aid qualification (if you have one)

Place of Work

• On site Monday to Friday with the option of some weekend work.
