TimePlan Education are currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join a SEMH provision in the London Borough of Camden. This is an incredible opportunity for those eager to contribute to the growth and well-being of students facing behavioural challenges.
While prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine passion for supporting young people and who can demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioural difficulties.
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Supporting students with their emotional and mental health needs.
- Collaborating closely with teachers and other professionals to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to various situations.
- A genuine interest in working with young people with SEMH needs.
