The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Project Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Education Team. In this role, you will be involved in exciting technical projects from the Planning Stage through to New Build delivery and refurbishments. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a variety of educational projects, ranging from small extensions and refurbishments to large-scale new build developments, including SEND-specific works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage educational projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of design and delivery.
  • Develop detailed designs and technical drawings for various educational projects, including new builds and refurbishments.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Utilize Revit software for project delivery (BIM Level 2 experience is beneficial) and ensure all work complies with the relevant DfE Output Specifications.
  • Engage in the Priority School design process, leveraging your knowledge of the Education sector to deliver exceptional results.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience working in the UK.
  • Registered with the Architect’s Registration Board, CIAT, or hold an equivalent international professional qualification.
  • Strong design and detailing skills, with a proven track record in delivering educational projects.
  • Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in NBS specification writing.
  • A good working knowledge of the Education sector, including the Priority School design process and DfE Output Specifications.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
