About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings and plans for various roofing projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet the specific requirements and standards of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD drawings and technical plans for roofing projects, including layouts and elevations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design specifications are met.
• Revise and update existing CAD drawings based on project changes or client feedback.
• Assist in developing design solutions that are both practical and cost-effective.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain an organised library of design documents and ensure all drawings are backed up and archived appropriately.
• Support the project team with technical advice and guidance during the construction phase.

About You:

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within the roofing or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of construction and roofing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of relevant building regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
