Time 4 Recruitment are excited to have an opportunity for a Temporary Senior Quantity Surveyor  based in Bristol on a 12 Month Contract  - which could continue longer for the right candidate.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working with a well-established and highly successful main contractor who specialise in design, build, refurbishment and refit in the commercial sector -  Their clients included branded restaurants, hotels, offices and universities across the South West of England and Wales.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working on a hot project which involves a property already been substantially built up to (but not complete) roof level.

As Senior QS you will join the Project Delivery Team and report in directly to the project commercial manager, and the bid manager when necessary.

The role of the Senior QS is available immediately with a duration of 12 months +. Hybrid working will be considered although it is anticipated that a minimum of 2/ 3 days will be required on site during the pre-construction phase.

The following duties and tasks are anticipated:

• Pre – Construction Phase Preparation of the contract bid.
• Full bill of quantities’ Evaluation of work already complete Subcontractor and supplier procurement
• Phased takeover of the ongoing fortnightly pre-construction valuations CVR reporting Forecasting Client Liaison Construction Phase
• Monthly valuations CVR reporting Final account projections Procurement Risk/opportunity management & profiling. Re-measurement Variation costing Forecasting Client liaison

Key requirements

• SMSTS is essential.
• First Aid
• CSCS
• Previous Contracts Management experience working on commercial Fit Out, Refurbishment and restorations projects will be preferred.
