About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of teachers. Your duties will include overseeing classes, ensuring a positive learning environment, and managing student behaviour. This role offers a great chance to gain valuable experience in education and make a real impact on the educational journey of our students.

Responsibilities:

1. Take responsibility for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring that learning objectives are met, and students remain engaged.
2. Provide support to students in their learning by delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities as directed by teaching staff.
3. Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students.
4. Assist with administrative duties such as registering attendance, distributing and collecting materials, and maintaining classroom resources.
5. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day and the effective delivery of the curriculum.
