We represent a school who have identified a key need for a Year 1 SEN Teacher who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
 
Responsibilities
  • The expectations for this role is a Year 1 SEN Teacher who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
  • The Year 1 SEN Teacher hired for this role must maintain high quality of teaching to ensure pupils are given the best chance to achieve targets.
  • This school requires a Year 1 SEN Teacher who is comfortable with technology, online management systems, and has strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
  • There will be an expectation for the successful Year 1 SEN Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
Qualifications/Experience
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
