We are looking for an experienced Production Team leader to join our Flavoured Milk department with in the Muller Milk and Ingredients business unit at Muller Severnside in Gloucester.

The purpose of the role is to provide leadership, support and coaching for packing & processing teams throughout the shift to ensure the smooth running of operations, delivery of the daily production plan and to be responsible for leading the flavoured milk teams in terms of performance, compliance and company policy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and coaching a team and strong leadership skills.

Location - Stoud - Gloucester

Shifts- 4 on 4 off - 2 days & 2 nights (7-7)

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance procedures and relevant company policies are followed.
• Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.
• Consistently follow the company disciplinary, grievance and attendance management procedures.
• Manage the performance of Flavoured Milk team and achieve 100% completion of "Job chats" with all relevant staff.
• Actively manage employee coaching, training and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high performing team.
• Ensure that all asset care and start up tasks are effectively carried out
• To effectively manage performance using the defined short interval control procedure
• Working with the Engineering Planner, ensure equipment is compliant.
• Coach and lead PLFM teams to achieve the daily performance targets.
• Influence all customer facing staff to represent the business positively in terms of service, appearance, professionalism and courtesy.
• Lead site teams to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Contribute to the achievement of internal and external audit accreditation.
• Ensuring the right product at the right time, first time for Filling Hall production.
• Create and enabling team to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own OPEX projects aligned to site business plan
