Position: HGV Drivers
Location: Various locations across the UK
Pay Rates: Anywhere between £15.00 - £28.00 ph depending on shift & location
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent / Temporary
We are seeking experienced and reliable HGV Drivers on behalf of our clients. Positions are available nationwide, providing you with the opportunity to work for leading companies in the logistics and transport sector. We want to hear from you if you are an experienced driver as we have a wide range of positions available across the UK.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with all driving laws and regulations.
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections on time.
- Carry out vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthiness and reporting any defects.
- Load and unload goods as required, ensuring the correct and safe handling of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A clean driving record, no more than 6 points, with a strong understanding of road safety.
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of EU Driving Hours & HGV Working Time Directive rules.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
