Workshop Engineer Assistant
A P Tools Limited are currently looking for a Workshop Assistant in Hamble, Southampton. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background, will ideally have experience with basic tool maintenance and repair work and will be based within a commutable distance of Southampton.
Workshop Assistant Position Overview
- Repair and maintenance of Pneumatic and electric tools (training provided)
- PAT Testing (training provided)
- HAV Testing (training provided)
- Fault finding
- Occasional manual lifting
- Computer data input
- Communicating with customers via telephone, email & face to face
- Will be required to work away on occasions
Workshop Assistant Position Requirements
- Previous hands-on mechanical experience (Preferred)
- Competent with basic mechanical principles
- An eagerness to learn and take on new skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised
- Sage knowledge preferred (training provided)
- Full clean Driving Licence essential
- Based within a commutable distance of Southampton
Workshop Assistant Position Remuneration
Salary - DOE
Monday – Thursday - 7.30am to 4.00pm
Friday – 7.30am to 1.00pm
