Branch Manager

Our client are a trade sales supplier providing products to builders, contractors, house builders, and end users.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager to join a small 3 person store in Basingstoke. As the branch manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the branch, including, but not limited to:
- Driving Sales for the branch
- Dealing with customer accounts to ensure excellent customer service is provided
- Keeping stock updated and accurate
- Merchandising on the shop floor
- Administration for the running of the branch
- Health & Safety within the branch
This is a 40 hour working week with the hours set at 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday (day off in the week when working Saturday).
The successful candidate will either be working in a Trade Sales environment at supervisory or management level. This might be someone from a Builders Merchant, Plumbers Merchant, Decorators Merchant, Drainage Merchant etc, and would like to move up into your first Branch Management role. Alternatively, you may already be a Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager within a retail environment, and be interested in moving into a Trade Sales role.
Our client are offering the following package:
- Basic salary of £32,000
- Company profit bonus scheme (upon reaching the minimum service threshold)
- 31 days annual leave
