A Groundsworks Supervisor is now required to lead others, so you have the credibility & knowledge, suitably assertive and self-confident and now looking for that right business to join, one with an enviable reputation of employee satisfaction, with an array of civils projects to get into.

Experience gained in civils & residential is important, as there will be differing projects to manage and so suitable experience may have been gained through employment within a prominent groundworks UK business.

Technical knowledge in Groundworks, Drainage, Foundation and/or Road construction will be in the running.

Perhaps you have returned to work after the summer break and you feel you need to make a change - these are factors towards your suitability. So RAMS, Ride on roller, Forward Tipping Dumper, an ability to understand drawings, are all in your skill set.

Do you enjoy the responsibility, the confidence shown in by your employer to manage and lead others in safely, a range of work of tasks from installing, selecting resources, excavating as you have completing a range of groundworks duties in your earlier working career, as this position offers.

• SSSTS
• First Aid
• MHFA awareness
• Asbestos awareness
• Banksman/Slinger
• Abrasive wheels
• H&S awareness - 1 day

To make you desirable though not essential and to be considered more highly, you will have acquired experience by any of these routes:

• Advanced apprentice or NVQ L3
• English, Maths - high grades
• SEATS
