About the role:

• Providing support to children with special educational needs
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
• Helping to create a positive, supportive and engaging learning environment
• Working one-on-one with students who may require additional support
• Supporting student progress to ensure each child reaches their full potential
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive school community
• Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential
