Your new role
The Lead Software Engineer will oversee a small but expanding team of developers working on innovative software systems and tools. This role involves managing both near-real-time software for data acquisition and non-real-time software for data processing and analytical tools. The team will be engaged in a variety of tasks, including experimental projects, new product development, and the continuous improvement and maintenance of existing products.

What you'll need to succeed

• A good technical degree in a relevant field, for example in electronic or software engineering or computer science.
• Ability to design, implement and test embedded software.
• Experience working with real time or near real time sensing hardware, communication devices and data acquisition systems, typically using C++, C#, .NET, Java.
• Experience of working with non-real time data processing and analysis systems, typically using Python, Java, C# or C++.
• Experience of cloud computing like AWS & Azure
• Strong skills in Agile software development practices.
• Strong documentation practices.
