Senior Site Manager

This Site Manager role is a great opportunity to make an impression with a reputable firm with a large order book.

You will be working with an experienced Project Manager and learning the processes within the company to help build the project. The project is a large £20m new build steel frame car park which runs from the beginning of October into Spring 2025.

The Project Manager will be visiting once or twice a week and as the Senior Site Manager it will be your responsibility to deliver the project.

Responsibilities for Senior Site Manager

  • Coordinate and oversee aspects of the project from demolition to completion.
  • Manage on-site personnel and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.

Requirements for Senior Site Manager

  • SSSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Relevant experience

The firm hiring are a highly reputable outfit with a large order book for 2025. They are a main contractor who work nationwide but HQ is in Berkshire and the future work will be based in Hertfordshire.

  • Day rate between £300-350.

Previous experience leading projects of similar value and type of build is important.
