LINKS Recruitment Group are pleased to present a great opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys sales and building relationships with customers, to learn and train in a rewarding field sales role.

In this role, you will be based from home or the office (depending on preference), and you will be servicing existing customers and making sales to established clients and also, building new relationships and developing new business where possible. This role is field based, and you will covering territory between Bristol, Gloucester, Exeter and Swindon with the bulk of the customers being Bristol based. This role is working with a mature business with a strong and well-established customer based – 75% of the role will be based on account management and the rest will be efforts to develop new business.

   Your duties will include:

• Manage your own diary and strengthen relationships with existing clients
• Organise and prioritise daily appointments to maximise sales opportunities
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions
• Drive to various locations to meet with clients and showcase products
• Utilise IT systems for order processing and customer relationship management
• Work with internal sales to identify, contact and secure sales with businesses based in the territory areas
• Work with autonomy to structure your day so that performance is optimized
• Keep the internal CRM system updated
• Develop your own knowledge to demonstrate good product knowledge
• Cover the Bristol, Gloucester, Exter and Swindon territory

The Person:

• Background within a business development, account management, field sales role or similar  
• Experience within an industrial, plastics, engineering, technical, fabrication and print / sign maker sector (desirable)
• Ability to be personable and build strong rapport with new and existing customers
• Have excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Be highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Must have a full clean driving license

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
