We’re working with a Europe’s leading specialist in the supply, design, overhaul, repair, and service support of vacuum furnaces. We're assisting them in their search for a new Control Systems Field Service Engineer to join their Team covering the UK, based out of their office in Halesowen.
 
The role is to provide on-site corrective/preventative maintenance, routine servicing, breakdown assistance, and carry out installation and commissioning of PLC/SCADA and control systems on their vacuum furnaces and associated equipment.
 
For this role they can consider any maintenance, service or support experience from PLC, Controls systems and associated Electrical equipment. This could be from a maintenance role, supporting a manufacturing site, or from a previous field service role. Alternatively, they would also consider engineers who have experience on sites from installing or commissioning PLC or Control Systems Equipment.
 
Experience on Vacuum Furnaces is not required, training will be provided and the primary part of the role is the Control Systems.
 
This is a field-based role based out of their HQ in Halesowen.
 
The salary is between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (potential flex for advanced experience). There is plenty of overtime available at enhanced rates which will increase the overall earning potential of the position: Overtime is compensated at x1.25 on weekdays, x1.5 on Saturdays, and x2 on Sundays. Additional allowances are provided for overnight stays during site work. Tools for the job along with a company vehicle for customer visits are provided.
