Our client is a leading company based in Bristol, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team. If you're passionate about numbers, financial reporting, and want to contribute to the success of a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, statutory accounts and the consolidation of accounts.
* Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Reconcile balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial documents.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial information is accurate.
* Oversee audits and work closely with external auditors.
* Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
* Stay up to date with financial regulations and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a financial accounting role.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Will consider candidates straight out of practice looking for their next move into commerce and industry.
