Person Requirements for the Automation Engineer:

• Recognised Automation Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND/NVQ L3
• Minimum 3 years industry experience
• In depth knowledge of production processes, plants and machinery.
• Applied knowledge automated process equipment and control systems
• Experience of working to high level of regulation.
• Knowledge of rules and procedures relating to safety, quality, food safety, GMP, hygeine and environmental protection.
• Experience working with packaging machines

Job Requirements for the Automation Engineer:

Working as an Automation Engineer, you will be contributing to the preventative maintenance plan by developing medium and long term solutions to deects.

• Management of all site automation equipment including PLC’s, invertors, WinCC SCADA & HMI, servers and more
• General maintenance of management systems
• Set-up, monitor, adjust, prepare planned/predictive maintenance schedule
• Ensuring all technical documentation is up to date for the engineers
• Working with site hardware and software
• Working with equipment such as Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
• Also working with Omron and Mistubishi
