Job Advert: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Night Shift)
Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Night Shift)
Shift: 4 nights on, 4 nights off (6pm - 6am)
Salary: £50,000 per annum
About the Company:
Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, they operate with cutting-edge automated systems that require to be maintained to the highest standards. (No production runs through the nights)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer for the night shift. This role focuses on planned maintenance and continuous improvement (CI) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Work on CI projects
- Ensure smooth job handovers between shifts
- Collaborate with a team of 7 engineers during the night shift
- Develop and execute own projects
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in engineering
- Background in engineering
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Confidence and willingness to get involved in all aspects of maintenance and projects
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
