Experienced Mechanical  Design Engineer/Draughtsperson

The candidate must be fully conversant with Autocad 2D & 3D. Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Cadworx would be an advantage, but not a necessity.
Experience with vessels, pipework, steelwork etc. is required. Most of our customers are chemical, water and pharmaceutical based and we provide, in some circumstances, a cradle to grave service which includes steelwork, vessel / storage tank and pipework design, manufacture and installation.
The job will entail producing general arrangement drawings for customer approval, fabrication drawings of vessel / storage tanks, pipework layouts using Cadworx software and the construction of 3D site layout models.
The candidate must be confident and capable of taking a project from the information supplied at the initial order placement (quotation and data sheets etc), working with our design engineers to produce a GA drawing for customer approval, dealing with the client and shop floor directly to solve any problems and to produce detailed fabrication drawings to suit the client approved design.
