As a Pharmacy Dispenser, with a technical yet personable approach, you’ll inspire the pharmacy team around you, making sure that our standards reflect that we care about our patients. Legally and ethically we want to give them the very best service.

Accuracy and care are what this role is all about. You will deliver the safe and effective running of the pharmacy and healthcare business, and lead the day-to-day running of the dispensary. You will be an expert in the technical aspects of the supply of medicines, whilst delivering excellent patient care.

Guiding and supporting your pharmacy team and working closely with the Pharmacist you’ll be influential in growing our online pharmacy services.

What you'll be doing:

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a key role in the smooth and safe operation of the pharmacy and healthcare business, overseeing the daily running of the dispensary. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring legal, safe, and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Achieving targets for the delivery of items and services income.
• Complying with legal and professional requirements and guidelines.
• Engaging with external stakeholders to secure locally commissioned services.
• Minimizing dispensing losses by streamlining dispensary operations.
• Ordering medicines, labeling, dispensing, endorsing, and checking prescriptions.

What you’ll need to have:

We’re offering an exciting career opportunity to grow professionally in the pharmacy field. To join us, you’ll need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Beyond qualifications, we’re looking for individuals with a genuine passion for customer care. You’ll coach and lead your dispensary team, working collaboratively to deliver our pharmacy strategy.
