*Job Title: Site Manager – Fire Protection & Remediation Works  
*Location: Edgware
*Duration: Temp to perm  

We are seeking a **Site Manager** on behalf of a leading construction contractor to oversee fire protection and remediation works, specifically involving the installation of Glasrock boards on existing riser walls in an occupied building environment.

*Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the remediation of existing riser walls, including the removal of plywood and installation of Glasrock boards.
- Ensure all works comply with current health and safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE (hard hat, Hi-Vis, FFP3 masks, etc.).
- Oversee work at height procedures using steps/hop-ups in accordance with RAMS.
- Coordinate daily site operations and manage communication with site personnel, subcontractors, and third parties.
- Ensure safe manual handling practices and effective material management on-site.
- Conduct regular safety checks, RAMS reviews, and site inspections to maintain project compliance.
- Document daily progress and manage site logs, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

*Minimum Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Management or equivalent qualification.
- Experience managing construction work in **occupied buildings**.
- Proven experience in fire protection and remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, RAMS, and COSHH assessments.
  
*Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or **IFC qualification** in **Passive Fire Protection Systems** is advantageous.
