The company is a globally established consultancy, providing end-to-end engineering solutions
to a wide array of industries. Following continued success with one of their largest accounts,
they are hiring for a Firmware Project Engineering Lead to join the team and work on an
aerospace radar project.

As Firmware Project Engineering Lead, you will lead the work packages assigned to you by the
Project Engineering Manager and be responsible for the success of engineering activities within
an Integrated Firmware Product Team. You will provide the team with clear expectations of the
engineering outcomes and ensure they are delivered within a timely manner.

This role involves close collaboration with the Project Engineering Manager or Project Manager,
ensuring they are kept informed of the engineering status, as well as supporting the integrated
Product Team Lead in internal & external engagements.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in management and delivery of firmware engineering projects.
  • Commercial & business awareness.
  • Ability to manage complex situations with sound judgement, whilst balancing conflicting challenges.
  • Experience working across the entire FPGA design cycle.
  • Familiarity with the latest FPGA device families and verification methodologies.

Desired, but not essential:
  • Development of real-time, embedded, safety-critical FPGA, preferably in accordance with RTCA/DO-254 DAL D.
  • Development and certification of airborne equipment
  • New Product Introduction experience
