Home tutor- Speech and Language Therapist

Salary: £25-£35 per hour (dependant on experience)

Do you have experience working with children with SLCN?

Here at TeacherActive we are on the hunt for strong SEN Tutors to work in and around Leicester City with children from KS1 up to post 16. The role will involve working on a 1 to 1 basis with children with speech and language difficulties, usually within the students home or a learning hub/library. 

Due to the complexities attached to each referral, we are unable to go into specific detail on the needs of the children for each role. 

We currently have both full time and part time positions available to start immediately. 

Successful applicants will have:

-          QTS or HLTA qualifications

-          Experience tutoring and confident working on a 1 to 1 basis with students

-          Good knowlegde of the curriculum 

-          Experience working with students with SLCN

-          Excellent time keeping and reliability

-          Access to your own vehicle or ability to travel around Leicester 

-          Valid Enhanced DBS check (We can help with applying if you dont already have one)
