Location: North Star Campus, Swindon, SN2 1DY

Hours: 37 hours per week, Part Time

Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract (Term Time)

Salary: £18,854 - £23,621 per annum

Hair and Beauty Technician- The Role:

New College Swindon’s Hair and Beauty department have a 1 year fixed-tem (term time) role available!

As a Salon Technician, you will provide support to staff and students in the salon and help prepare for customers and practical sessions.

Your role will be to act as a mentor to students carrying out client treatments and aid in the acquisition of trade and revenue. Additionally, you will assist the Salon Coordinator to keep the Academy and Salon ready for lessons, stock taking, washing and other duties that would help learners in the Hair & Beauty department.

You may be asked to work 1 evening per week til 8.30/9pm.

Hair and Beauty Technician– Person Specification:

- Recent relevant experience in Hair & Beauty

- An ability to guide our learners around a salon

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
