Seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Estimator to join our team at Clancy Docwra, working on an exciting £100m water recycling (dirty water) project. The role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to depots located in Milton Keynes, Corby, and Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong estimating background in water or waste projects.

About the role of Civil Engineering Estimator

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate estimates for a large-scale water recycling project valued at £100m. You will be working closely with our project team to ensure costings reflect the needs of the project, factoring in construction details, labour, materials, and time frames.

Responsibilities for Civil Engineering Estimator

  • Prepare and produce detailed cost estimates for the project.
  • Analyse project specifications and design plans to determine cost-related variables.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure estimates are aligned with the project's objectives.
  • Visit depots and liaise with teams in Milton Keynes, Corby, and Ipswich as necessary.
  • Review and update project estimates as needed throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements for Civil Engineering Estimator

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating, preferably in civil engineering
  • Experience estimating on water or waste projects
  • Strong knowledge of P6 Primavera
  • Ability to work remotely, with flexibility to visit depots as needed.
