The Field Manger will have responsibility for…

  • Managing a team of lift engineers which will be focusing on modernisation projects.
  • Working in partnership with the project manager, to provide them with technical information around modernisation projects to ensure that they’re building effective project plans.
  • Support your team by acting as an SME, weather this is providing technical assistance to the engineers or supporting project managers and internal stakeholders with key technical information needed to ensure a timely completion of projects.

The key objectives will be to work in partnership with other internal stakeholder to ensure that business critical modernization projects are completed in a timely manner. You will also work with and manage a team of modernization engineers.

To be considered you will be an experience lift engineer, with experience in man management, coaching and mentoring.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Ideally be educated to NVQ level 3 in Lift engineering or equivalent.
  • Great management, coaching and mentoring experience. Able to provide feedback to a competent team of engineers and drive them to ensure they’re at the best of their ability.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written, able to breakdown and explain complex technical terms and jargon to non-technical individuals.
