English Tutors, tutoring/intervention sessions in school

Pay Rate - £20.00 - £32.00* per hour

GSL Education Lincolnshire Branch are looking for an English Tutor to support student’s up to a 1:4 basis. The role is approximately 6 hours of work per week and tends to be one morning and one afternoon on separate days. The secondary school in Lincoln require the English tutor to teach student’s from Yr9 up to Yr11. This role is suitable for graduates seeking to gain tutoring/teaching experience as well as already qualified teachers. The school are keen to meet and interview suitable tutors as soon as possible.

Please do not apply for this role if you cannot travel to the centre of Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This role isn’t suitable for online tuition.

Requirements:

• Have a relevant degree in a English based subject*, alternatively be a qualified teacher
• If you don’t have a degree or teaching qualification then you will have to be currently studying towards a degree at university and A-levels in English language and literature
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (we can apply for this)
• Up to date references from either work, voluntary role or education
