Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Call out: 1 in 6 (paid at £110)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to support the maintenance of up to three Carlsberg distribution sites, with the possibility of managing a fourth. This is a Temp to Perm position, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent as one of the current engineers is undergoing disciplinary action. The role requires someone with excellent hands-on skills in fabric maintenance, who can ensure the smooth operation of these key facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on the fabric of the buildings, ensuring a high standard of upkeep.
  • Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and decorating tasks as needed.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other engineers and contractors to address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance tasks and repairs.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fabric maintenance, including minor repairs and general building upkeep.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across multiple sites efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with site management and external contractors.
  • Full driving license, as travel between sites is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
