Due to their continued success, our client is looking for a forward thinking, creative and articulate Events Manager to be responsible for the planning, implementation, management of events and conferences across the business. Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive proven event project management and leadership skills, including the ability to manage budgets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as creative flair should come naturally.
  • Accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable around working hours and the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Professional attitude with demonstrable ability to exercise complete confidentiality

Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • The successful planning, implementation, and management of corporate and social events, conferences, and exhibitions and roadshows
  • Managing the delivery of events and associated budgets, ensuring efficient running of the annual events and conference calendar
  • Negotiating corporate rates across all event delivery to ensure best budgetary value
  • Collaborating with all associated departments to publicise and promote events
  • Managing and overseeing events, including problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, and communicating with staff and organising vendors as appropriate
