Facilities Coordinator / Electrical Planner
Orsett - £30,000 plus excellent benefits package

Monday to Friday 8-4pm Office based (not hybrid or remote) Free onsite parking

I am recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator for a rapidly growing company based around the Orsett / Gray’s area – own transport required due to location

Your focus will be to plan, coordinate and allocate a wide range of tasks and manage the diaries of up to 15 maintenance engineers, you will:
• Reacting to facility issues or repair requests and raising jobs on the internal system.
• Monitoring inboxes
• Coordinating Engineers appointments
• Problem solving and working through queries
• Working on planned and reactive maintenance requests
• Checking progress and updating clients
• Producing purchase orders closing calls
• Preparing quotes

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a Facilities Maintenance Scheduler/ Planner

Good geography knowledge for the Southeast
A good electrical knowledge or used to deal with and managing / handling electricians would be beneficial
Ability to lead and manage a team of schedule and maintenance personnel
You will plan, coordinate and allocate a wide range of tasks and manage the diaries of up to 15 maintenance engineers so it is essential you have worked as a helpdesk coordinator / scheduler or planner of engineers or trades before

Out of Hours on Call Rota: Be part of the out of hours on call team where a single Sunday, 1 in 16 weeks, will be required to be worked. During this period 1 working day within the week is provided as a non-working day. Double time is applicable for Sunday working days

Requirements:
- Experience in job scheduling essential with a background in the facilities maintenance industry.
