Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

This role has a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, alternating both days and nights.  

The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:

  • You will be carrying out both Planned and Reactive maintenance to both plant and building equipment.
  • Understanding, encouraging and carry out the principles of Health & Safety and takes personal responsibility for safety and work well with others to get a job done and responds positively to instructions and procedures.
  • Carrying out the effective delivery of electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to both plant equipment and building equipment on the Client's sites
  • Providing assistance to other maintenance personnel as and when required.
  • Providing excellent communication and customer service to the client and follow all company procedures including following all company health and safety requirements.
  • You will ensure the correct operation of all M&E assets within all sites.
  • To identify further opportunities for completion whilst undertaking existing reactive WOs
  • Completing other jobs operating a 360 degree view when you walk onto the Clients. 

To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:

  • A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (18th edition), testing and inspection 2391 or equivalent.
  • Experience with PPM and Reactive works as well as fault finding on control circuits.
  • Knowledge of electrical services and systems.
  • Experience in General Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Risk Assessment and Method Statement trained.
  • A strong understanding of industry safety standards and procedures.
