Job description
Rapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Stoke on Trent who are looking for 15 x Class 1 drivers to join them.
 
Role: Class 1 Driver
Hours: Start times will vary but looking for late afternoon/night drivers.
Ideal shift patterns:

• Sunday to Thursday
• Monday to Friday
• Tuesday to Saturday

 
Hourly rates
Monday to Friday days £19.00 
Monday to Friday nights £20.00
Saturday £21.00
Sunday £22.00
Overtime pay: Time and a half after 8 hours daily
Minimum requirement 4 shifts per week.
Minumum 8 hours paid

 Role to include, and not limited to:

• Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
• PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
• Always provide exceptional customer service.
• Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving

 The recruitment process will involve an initial assesment which inludes, classroom and a 2-3 hour driving assesment. This is then  followed by full induction. 
Drivers will then be put onto a fixed rota.Requirements:

• Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
• CPC Card
• Digi Card
• Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving
