Our Fife based client,who are well established in the Construction industry, require a Plumbing Estimator to join their team.
You will be responsible for cost calculations for Plumbing projects to determine how much it will cost the company to complete a project or provide products and services to its clients.
Key duties will include:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors, project managers, engineers and suppliers.
- Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame
- Assessing the risk levels associated with a project
- Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done
- Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
- Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs
- Conducting site visits when required.
To be suitable for this role you will have the following key skills and experience:
- Proven experience in an Estimating role (Ideally plumbing related)
- Knowledge of the construction/trades industry
- Valid driver's license
- Self-motivated
- Ability to present technical and complex information in a simplified manner.
- Reliable, detailed oriented, highly organised, and capable of handling several tasks
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
In return you will receive a salary of up to £45k + excellent benefits package, support and training.
