Loyal Blue Recruitment are currently working with a beautiful little private nursery based in the borough of Hackney. We are looking for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to start as soon as possible.

The Nursery:

A lovely 2 setting nursery with 9 children to each classroom follows the EYFS curriculum with a Montessori philosophy. The staff are extremely friendly and the nursery is based in stunning grounds with beautiful gardens. Their latest Ofsted report was rated 'Outstanding' in every aspect. The role is a full time permanent position to start as soon as possible. They offer 6 weeks paid holiday plus bank holidays, 7 days sick pay plus you will receive a bonus for every six months of employment. They also offer safeguarding and first aid training and the salary is between £25,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience.

Overview:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be instrumental in creating a safe and enriching environment for children under your care. Your role is pivotal in developing early childhood education and ensuring each child's well-being.

Duties:
- Supervise and interact with children, prioritising their safety and happiness.
- Design and execute engaging activities that support learning and development.
- Cultivate a positive atmosphere that nurtures social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain open communication with parents, offering updates on their child's progress.
- Collaborate with fellow staff to uphold a clean and organised learning space.
- Monitor children's behaviour, track progress, and identify areas for enhancement.
- Build strong relationships with children to boost self-esteem and independence.
- Manage daily routines including meals, naps, and toileting.

Skills:
We are looking for individuals with the following skills:
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Passion for early childhood education and genuine care for children's well-being.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and engage with children.
- Drive to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each child's needs.
