This role requires a background in industrial automation ideally within warehouse management.

Integration Test Engineer - The Role:
⦁ Commission and test software systems on client sites as part of an integrated test team developing integrated test scripts
⦁ Provide support to the client/commissioning team during early life
⦁ Involvement in system design reviews to provide a test and operational perspective
⦁ Build and develop in house capabilities for integrated testing to complement those provided by Integration team
⦁ Assisting with the development of the project quality plan and responsibility for ensuring quality through the project process.
⦁ Use the JIRA system to report faults in core package software.
⦁ Assist in the development of simulation and other testing tools
⦁ Supporting and taking direction from the systems and Integration project managers for functional requirements on a given project
⦁ Reporting to the Senior Integration Test Engineer for overall line management (career development, training, appraisals etc)
⦁ Working with Systems Architects to identify test requirements and risks

Integration Test Engineer - The Person:
⦁ 1 years’ experience of working with an automated warehouse system preferable
⦁ A broad understanding of PLC control and sensors for industrial automation applications with relation to automated warehouse systems
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a team and able to form and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues
⦁ Ability to log faults clearly providing relevant data, and able to log progress as part of the testing cycle
⦁ Flexibility to travel within UK and Europe with the willingness to stay away from home – around 60%
⦁ Hold a full & clean driving licence

Located in Nottinghamshire, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Lincoln, Mansfield and surrounding areas.
