One of my top clients, who are an industry-leading RC Frame, Groundworks firm are currently looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that an organisation and its employees adhere to the company’s safety standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out safety risks assessments prior to starting a new project
- Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety standards.
- Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches
- Staying up to date with health, safety, and environment regulations
- Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors
- Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness
- Tracking incident metrics and applying finding
- Pre-construction / Construction Phase Plan and H&S file review and management.
- Undertake site audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings.
Requirements:
- Nebosh Certificate in Construction Health & Safety.
- IOSH certificate (preferred).
- CSCS (preferred).
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent IT skills and experience in Microsoft Office / 365, including word, excel outlook, PowerPoint, teams, etc.
- A good understanding of CDM regulations and site H&S.
