The Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Installation & Commissioning: Take charge of installing and commissioning state-of-the-art food production systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly from the start.
  • Maintenance & Support: Provide top-notch preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping systems at peak performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge Enhancement: Travel to the company’s head office in Europe occasionally to stay on top of the latest technological advancements and bring fresh insights to the team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the UK team and interact with international colleagues to deliver exceptional service and support.
  • Administrative Duties: Keep accurate service reports and manage travel expenses efficiently.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience At least five years in the food production industry or a related field, with a solid background in service engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills, with experience in Siemens PLC controls a plus.
  • Travel Ready: Comfortable with extensive travel within the UK & Ireland and occasionally further afield.
  • Customer-Focused: Committed to delivering excellent customer service and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible: Open to occasional irregular hours and travel requirements.
  • Qualifications: Valid driving license and fluent in English.
