We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Police Custody Nurses to join our team in the Swindon and Wiltshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for registered nurses who are looking to work in a unique and fast-paced environment within police custody suites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to detainees within police custody.
• Conduct health assessments, including injury evaluation, mental health assessments, and administering medications.
• Work closely with police officers and other healthcare professionals to ensure the wellbeing of detainees.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to legal standards of care.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience in forensic, custody, or emergency nursing
• Must hold current police vetting, ideally Warwickshire vetting.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Willingness to complete shadow shifts for training and familiarization.
