We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a new industrial warehouse project based in Hook, Hampshire.

The Role:
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the successful delivery of this large-scale industrial warehouse project. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring high standards of health and safety, quality control, and timely progress. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of the construction site, including coordination of subcontractors, trades, and materials.
  • Monitor and maintain project timelines, ensuring all work is completed on schedule.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, conducting site inspections as required.
  • Support the Site Manager in problem-solving and decision-making on-site issues.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain smooth site operations.
  • Keep accurate records of site activities, progress, and any issues that arise.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality are met throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within industrial or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in construction software and tools is a plus.
  • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid certification.
  • Full UK driving license.
