Our client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers. With a strong engineering foundation, they place a high emphasis on the efficiency of their production systems, and engineering plays a pivotal role in their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the current maintenance team.
- Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) scheme.
- Ensure compliance and management of Health and Safety systems.
- Drive process improvement through identification, proposal, and execution.
- Manage small-scale improvement projects, including justification, implementation, and post-appraisal.
- Oversee spare part stock and procurement.

- 22 days of paid annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 27 days, plus statutory holidays.

- Evaluate mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical systems for performance improvement.
- Understand system requirements to enhance efficiency.
- Use process and equipment measurements to assess and discuss operating conditions.
- Prioritise and plan workload effectively.
- Stay updated with technical knowledge of engineering systems.
- Handle pressure and meet deadlines with good problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
