We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineer role.

A Lead CS&A Engineer is required to lead delivery of the CS&A elements of projects, in collaboration with other engineering disciplines for SMPrO Projects. The role involves the following:

Leading design delivery of the CS&A elements, linking with the CS&A Responsible Engineer and collaborating with safety, quality and other engineering disciplines to meet project objectives and meet key milestones.
Authorising, checking and supervising delivery of CS&A design tasks (design drawings, assessments and reports).
Monitoring and reporting progress against delivery schedules.
Liaison with Stakeholders (plant personnel, system engineers, construction team etc).
Undertake site inspections/stakeholder walkdowns to confirm design scope and to develop design solutions.
Production of design and assessment calculation packages, CS&A documents and input into multi-discipline documents (e.g. NFRs, BoD, OIMS, RAs and DJRs).
Occasional need to provide oversight and review of supply chain produced deliverables to enable RE acceptance (inc. CS&A design deliverables and temporary works scaffold brief and approvals)

Experience and Qualifications

Essential Experience:
General all round civil and structural design experience required, with experience working on alterations and modifications to existing structures amongst other asset care type projects.
Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost.
Experience of managing projects, developing schedules and estimates and managing stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

Incorporated Engineer with IStructE or ICE (minimum) .

Desirable Experience:

Experienced in delivering work for SL (preferred).
Chartered Engineer with the IStructE or ICE (preferred).
Experienced in writing safety case documents (e.g. DARs and DJRs Substantiation) (preferred).
A strong understanding of the challenges faced working on assest care tasks in the nuclear sector (preferred).

Desirable Qualifications:

Monitor Worker (preferred).
Experience using searching for SL information in Cimage and Icepac (preferred).
Proficient in the use of Tedds and Staad Pro (preferred).
