Elevation Recruitment Group are searching for a Buyer to join fast-growing company in the Wholesale industry based in Leeds.

We are looking for individuals with a background in Wholesale products like gifting, furnishings, gardening, outdoor, accessories, homeware, seasonal products, or DIY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences
• Analyse sales trends and inventory levels to forecast product demand
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Experience in stock clearance and/or discount wholesale trade is required
• Establishing and maintaining progressive relationships with suppliers
• Be a fantastic communicator with strong interpersonal skills and have the confidence to speak to people at different seniority levels
• You should understand sales behaviour and be able to consult with suppliers to gain their product at the right price
• Develop an understanding of how suppliers work in order to determine who the decision-makers are and have the ability to build a successful relationship and value proposition to meet theirs and yours needs
• Make contact and forming productive and profitable relationships
• Be a driven, tenuous individual with a will to succeed
